Half Day Athens and Acropolis tour (4 hours)

Through the main streets of Athens we visit the Acropolis first: Parthenon, & Erechteum and we have an exquisite view of the Theatre of Dionysos Areopagus, Pnyx and the Temple of Hesphestos (Theseum). We visit the ancient Agora the Stoa of Attalos (optional) and the new Acropolis Museum with its unique collection of archaic and classical sculptures. We then drive to the ancient town and right after we drive through the city to enjoy an overview of the modern city and striking contrasts to the remains of its glorious past. Drive by the Temple of Olympian Zeus to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament house on Constitution square (guarded by colorful Evzones), the Panathenian stadium ( site of the first modern Olympic games in 1896- short stop), the Presidential palace, government buildings and elegant homes. Drive along Panepistimiou avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament house, and Omonia square.

Half day excursion to Cape Sounion (4 hours)

One of the most famous places in Attica, located 69 km southeast of Athens at the southernmost point of Attica peninsula. Drive by the Coast of Saronicos Bay to Phaleron, Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza, Lagonissi and Anavissos. Arrive Sounion where the Temple of the Sea God, Poseidon (Neptune) is located. This excursion will leave visitors speechless with the amazing view on the Aegean Sea and the islands at sunset from the temple of Poseidon.

Half Day Excursion to Ancient Corinth (4hrs)

Drive westwards of Athens along the scenic coast, until we reach the Corinth Canal with its breathtaking views (short stop). Thereafter we reach the Ancient Town of Corinth where St Paul lived and preached for two years. Back in the ancient times Corinth was amongst the richest cities and this is quite evident by its remains, including the huge agora (market place) and Apollo's Temple. Return to Athens.

Full Day Athens tour (8 hrs)

This tour includes the half day Athens tour plus a visit to the National Archaeological museum and/ or Benaki museum. Lunch- optional. Visit to Piraeus pier- optional.

Full Day Athens & Cape Sounion tour (8 hours)

This tour includes a half day Athens tour plus a half day excursion to Cape Sounion.

Airport- half day Athens or half day Sounion- Piraeus pier or V/V

Meet upon arrival at the airport, transfer into Athens or Sounion for a 3 hour tour and release at the pier.

Piraeus pier (Cruise ship)- half day or full day Athens- Piraeus pier

Pick up in Piraeus pier, transfer into Athens for a 3 or 7 hour tour and return to pier.

Athens by Night (4 hours)

We commence a chauffeur driven city overview, through the main streets of Athens with the respective of the monumental Acropolis and walk through its neighbourhood, the traditional Plaka area, with numerous art and gift shops and colourful taverns and discover the famous Greek cuisine or proceed to the recently restructured Gazi area with the many cafes and bars and become a part of the contemporary night life of Athens.

Full day excursion to Delphi (8-9 hours) Approx kms r/t 400

Depart Athens in the morning taking the new Attica highway and the Athens- Lamia National road, continue outside Thebes, Levadia and mount Parnassus to Delphi known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Pass by Castalia spring, visit the archaeological site with the treasury of the Athenians, the ancient sanctuary of Apollo and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and the Delphi museum, with its spectacular exhibits including the bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos. After lunch return to Athens via the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets, rugs and quilts, as well as for its wine and cheese.

Full day excursion to Argolis (8-9 hours) Approx kms r/t 400

Depart Athens in the morning taking the new Attica highway and the Athens- Patron National road we continue to the Corinth canal (short stop). Through vineyards and valley scenery we drive to Mycenae and visit the archaeological site (described by Homer), the fortress of Agamemnon, Beehive tombs, the tomb of Agamemnon and Lionesses’ gate and Cyclops’ walls. After lunch through Argos along the coast of Argolis bay, proceed to Nauplia the first capital of modern Greece with its Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the fortified islet of Bourzi. Continue to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics.

2 days tour to Delphi & Meteora

1st day
Depart from Athens and drive to the picturesque village of Arachova (short stop). Then continue to Delphi, well known as the center of the earth. Pass by Castalia Spring, visit the Archaeological site with the Temple of Apollo, where Pythia gave her oracles, and the museum with its unique bronze Charioteer. Free time for lunch. Early in the afternoon depart for Meteora (Kalambaka).
Overnight
2nd day
In the morning visit Meteora, one of the most breathtaking places in Greece. Meteora, this amazing rock community consists of 24 Byzantine monasteries constructed on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in air. Return to Athens in the afternoon passing by Thermopylae where you can see the monument of Leonidas, King of Sparta.

2 days tour to Olympia

1st day
Drive along the coastal road as far as the Corinth canal (short stop). Then drive to Mycenae, the legendary home of the Atreides (visit of the archaeological site). Depart for Nafplion, the first capital city of modern Greece where you can enjoy your lunch by the sea. After lunch, depart for Epidaurus with its ancient theatre famous for its remarkable acoustics. (visit) Drive to Olympia, free evening for a stroll through the modern city/ overnight
2nd day
After breakfast visit the Archaeological site of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic games where the original setting and site still lie intact and the Archaeological museum with its famous Praxiteles marble statue of Hermes and many findings from the area. After lunch, return to Athens.
