2-Day Tour to Olympia
1st day
Drive along the coastal road as far as the Corinth canal (short stop). Then drive to Mycenae, the legendary home of the Atreides (visit of the archaeological site). Depart for Nafplion, the first capital city of modern Greece where you can enjoy your lunch by the sea. After lunch, depart for Epidaurus with its ancient theatre famous for its remarkable acoustics. (visit) Drive to Olympia, free evening for a stroll through the modern city/ overnight
2nd day
After breakfast visit the Archaeological site of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic games where the original setting and site still lie intact and the Archaeological museum with its famous Praxiteles marble statue of Hermes and many findings from the area. After lunch, return to Athens.
