Full day excursion to Argolis (8-9 hours)

Depart Athens in the morning taking the new Attica highway and the Athens-Patron National road we continue to the Corinth canal (short stop).

Through vineyards and valley scenery we drive to Mycenae and visit the archaeological site (described by Homer), the fortress of Agamemnon, Beehive tombs, the tomb of Agamemnon and Lionesses’ gate and Cyclops’ walls.

After lunch through Argos along the coast of Argolis bay, proceed to Nauplia the first capital of modern Greece with its Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the fortified islet of Bourzi.

Continue to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics.
